Da Nang
The Vietnam’s fourth largest city with a major seaport and an international airport along with its proximity to several UNESCO Heritage sites makes Da Nang to be an important gateway for visitors to Central Vietnam. The city itself is also a rising destination with some popular sightseeing spots and friendly hospitable locals. The Cham Museum housed in classical French colonial building hosts the world’s finest collection of Cham sculpture, much of it originating from the My Son site. Another most-visited site is the Marble Mountain, a cluster of five sacred marble and limestone hills on the south of Da Nang. Many shrines and temples have been built over centuries both on the hillsides and in the spectacular natural grottoes.  For beach lovers, My Khe beach which costs only a short southbound drive or a few kilometers further south is Non Nuoc Beach which also claims its name for calm seas and clear blue water during four seasons.
