Cambodia explorer overland tour give you the real experience about these astounding archaeological sites nowhere in the world: tour starts from the charming capital of Phnom Penh by visiting the Wat Phnom, The Royal Palace, the National Museum and the Silver Pagoda. You also visit Tuol Sleng and the Killing Field of Choeung Ek where you find Cambodia's horrible story in just recent past. Afterwards, a drive to Kampong Cham -- Kampong Thom visit Kuhear Moha Nokor Temple (Wat Nokor) and Phnom Pros (Men-Hill) & Phnom Srey, explore the un-touched temples and places before transferring to Siem Reap and explore Angkor Wat. One of the world's wonders that will amaze you with hundreds sculptures, buildings and temples.
Itinerary Day by Day

Arrival Phnom Penh around noon – Visa processing – meet with guide for transfer to hotel.

Afternoon start a half day city tour including the Victory Monument, and the National Museum (called as Musee des Beaux-Arts). Next, you’ll visit a French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art - notably sculptures – from throughout the ages. You’ll also discover the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside includes a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90 kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. End of day stop at the Central market and in right time to views over the tree-lined avenues of the city during sunset.

In the morning you will travel outside of town to visit Cheung Ek Killing Field, Independence Monument, and stop at the moving Toul Sleng Musem, where prisoners of war were once kept.

Have lunch at local Khmer restaurant.

Afternoon, continue to visit Phnom Penh Municipality Hall, National Library, National Bank and you can spend the rest of time shopping at the Russian or Central markets.

Morning, start an excursion to Takeo Province.  Upon arrival, take a boat cruise to Angkor Borei (Funan city-built in early 400 years BC), you’ll visit the magnificent Phnom Da Temple on the top of Phnom Da Mount, the first work of pre-Angkorian period and Museum. Drive to Phnom Chiso then stop at Ta Prohm temple and Yeah Pouv on the way back hotel.

Morning transfer by land with your private car & guide to Kampong Cham, visit Kuhear Moha Nokor Temple (Wat Nokor) and Phnom Pros (Men-Hill) & Phnom Srey (Women- Hill) and on the way you'll also experience the way of stone carving before heading to Kompong Thom for overnight.

Morning transfer to visit amazing untouched Sambor Prei Kuk complex temples (615-650AD), those temples which consists of about 200 temples of the pre-Angkorian City located 30km from Kampong Thom provincial town before move to Siem Reap and stop at Kampong kday to see the "Angkorean" bridge and afterwards process to Siem Reap.

Morning, begin to visit Rolous Group including Preah Ko, Bakong, Lo Lei.

Afternoon, continue to visit Prasat Kravan with its unique brick sculptures and Ta Prohm.  One of the area's most remarkable temples, Ta Prohm had been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. It reveals the fact that, unlike the other monuments of Angkor, it was abandoned and swallowed by the jungle, similar the ways most of the Angkor temples appeared when European explorers first stumbled upon them. Walk around to visit as well Takeo, Chau SayTevoda and Thommanon.  Continue to visit Preah Khan temple, built by the King Jayavarman VII, Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulders-hanging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation. Return to hotel for leisure.

Today you'll visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: The temple complex covers 81 hectares and as wide as the size of the Imperial Palce in Beijing. You'll explore its distinctive five towers considered to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and surrounding moat and the ocean beyond.

Afternoon you will visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century masterpices), you'll encounter the South Gate with its huge statues, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the LeperKingandBayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara). Afterwards, drive back to Prasat BeyTemple located in the north of Phnom Bakheng south gate of Angkor Thom in TONLE OUM behind Prasat Bey temple, you'll depart from ports visits south gate of Angkor Thom and the wall along the Tonle Oum while listening romantic traditional music and histories of the Khmer. End of day take a relaxing stopover at Prasat Chrung visiting Tadev Hole and temple with the best Sunset.

Today you start tour at 8:00 AM to visit an ancient Hindu temple at the countryside called BANEAY SREY - the citadel of women. It is 35KM north of Siem Reap and built from 968-1001AD, dedicated to Shiva God. It is considered to be the most beautiful and unique temples with pink sandstone and very deep carvings in Cambodia.

Afternoon visit Grand Circuit including Pre Rup (Change the body), Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool and representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake and visit the temple of Ta Som as well as Srah Srang ("The Royal Baths"), undoubtedly used in the past for ritual bathing before return to hotel.

Today transfer to Holy mountain of Phnom Kulen visit Liga carving, a legacy of the God-kings who ruled Cambodia in the ninth century. It is known as one of the eight water sources, sleeping Buddha, and the Waterfall of Phnom Kulen.

Afternoon take a boat trip to floating village to visit Tonle Sap Great Lake while viewing the peaceful sightseeing along the River and talking with the local fishermen to know their lifestyle before transfer back to your hotel.

Today excursion with tour guide to visit Koh Ker temple, the remote 10th century capital of Khmer Empire for a very brief period from the year 928 to 944 AD, located in Preah Vihea province. Un-restored and left to the jungle for nearly a millennium; this great archaeological site has been rarely explored until very recently.

In the afternoon drive back to Siem Reap and stop at Beng Melea, the largely temple overrun by vegetation and very lightly visited by the tourists, you will feel like lost and adventurous. It was built in early 11th century by the King Suryavarman II.
