Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, welcome by our guide and transfer to hotel for check in. Located on the right bank of the Red River, Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital with a thousand year old history is considered one of the most charming cities of Asia. Its fascinating beauty is the blend of shadowed boulevards, elegant French colonial architectures, numerous sacred pagodas, tree-fringed lakes and amazing cuisine besides the hustle and bustle of the country’s second largest city.

Continue to Dong Xuan, the busiest market in the Old Quarter and then cross the Long Bien Bridge, designed by the famous French Architect Gustave Eiffel. From here, you can catch a panoramic view of Hanoi at night on the banks of the Red River. The ongoing ride through chaos traffics takes you to a small valley where you will try Pho – a very famous Vietnamese dishes. Then run around the big lake with super romantic scenes before stop for some fresh fruit juice. Proceed to a nearby local karaoke bar where you can see how the Vietnamese have funs with friends. You can pick up your favorite songs and try your voice. It’s really an amazing experience! We move on to the Ba Dinh square in front of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to watch the changing of the guard and the lowering flag ceremony. After that, it’s your time to hang out with the young Hanoians in a local bar with live trendy music. You can stand on the stage and perform yourself or just sit back to enjoy both Vietnamese and English songs by local talent voices with their unique styles.

Early departure by Sapa Express bus from Hanoi at 7:30 to Sapa at 12:30, meet our English local guide and driver upon arrival then transfer to our trekking base.

Transfer Southward to Muong Hoa valley which is the largest paddy terrace in Sapa area. Our guide will provide you with interesting information about the processes of rice growing. A visit to the valley between May and October will give you a chance to observe locals either planting a new crop or harvesting an old one. Take a walk from Lao Chai village of Black H'mong minority to Ta Van village of Giay minority and come back to town to visit its Catholic Church then visit Taphin village, our Dao host family will welcome us to their home where we will share in an ethnic style dinner and stay the night.

You head out from Sapa by cycling downhill into Ban Ho valley. The ride offers beautiful views to fantastic scenery of mountains and rice paddy fields along the way until you arrive at the stilt-house. Here you will have lunch in the Tay stilt restaurant. After lunch, you will take a pleasant walk to the stilt-house. From the stilt-house, there are breathtaking views across the scenic valleys below, which are home to villages of Tay, Red Dao and Xa Pho minorities. Later you will cycle over to the nearby Red Dao village of Lech. Here you have time to explore the daily life of the Red Dao minority. After visiting the Red Dao village you cycle back to the downtown. If time permits, visit minority village named Cat Cat to observe minority villagers colorfully dressed indigo tunics, leggings, elaborate pleated skirts, and sliver-studded jackets. Interact these minorities and learn about their unique lifestyle, which has not much changed despite the long passage of time. You will also enjoy a mountain minority traditional dance show here.

Morning, leave Sapa early to transfer to Bac Ha Market about 2.5 hour drive away. Arrive to discover the big outdoors market, known as the venue for largest fairs in the regions, lively with minorities of various groups buying and selling assorted goods including handicraft and farming tools.

Move on to Trung Do Village to enjoy a water buffalo-pulled cart ride amid the scenic countryside inhabited by the hospitable Tay minority people. From the village, travel by boat down the Chay River for sightseeing along the river before enjoying a refreshing cup of tea before taking the evening Sapa Express bus from Sapa 16:30 to Hanoi 21:30. Upon arrival, our local guide in Hanoi transfers you bus station to your hotel. Check in for overnight.

Depart at 8:00 AM from your hotel for a shared van to Ha Long Bay, which is about 160 km or 3.5-hour drive away. On the way, you will see some rural areas of the Red River Delta with plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers working in paddy fields. Stop half way to visit a handicraft workshop of fine clothes and embroidered paintings. Arrive in Ha Long City at 11:30 AM and check in aboard the booked junk right after the welcome drink is served. Start cruising while having lunch on board and enjoy the mighty bay view. Ha Long Bay meaning Descending Dragon Bay in Vietnamese as legend has it that it was where a holly dragon landed down from sky. The bay, famous as one of the world’s wonders and heritage sites whose formation dates back 500 million years, consists of around 2,000 karst islands and islets scattered over an area of 1,553 km2. The bay cruise will continue with up close sighting of Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island, a visit to Sung Sot Cave and swimming stop at Titov Beach. Relax to enjoy the bay view at sunset, have dinner after, go fishing at 09:00 PM and spend a night on board.

Wake up at 06:30 AM and refresh your body and mind with a Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck. Tai Chi is an ancient internal martial art often practiced in soft and gracefully slow moves to enhance internal harmony and vitality. Have tea and coffee onboard before proceeding to Titov Islet or Soi Sim Island to trek and swim. Check out at 09:30, have a buffet brunch while cruising back to shore. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery as we approach the pier. At noon, say goodbye to the crew then transfer back to Hanoi.

Morning, depart from your hotel for Ninh Binh province, 98 kilometers South of Hanoi. You will call in a Buddhist complex called Bai Dinh, the largest of its kind in Vietnam, which consists of an original old pagoda and a series of newly built pagodas in Gia Vien District. It boasts hundreds of statutes and a variety of architectural works. Have lunch in local restaurant with local specialties such as goat meat, pork and crunchy rice crust and. Proceed to visit Trang An Eco-tourism Complex where a boat trip will take you through a scenic landscape of mountains, fields and rivers to a series of caves including Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou. Trang An is also called “an inland Ha Long” for its strikingly similar terrain of rugged rocky mountains rising up from the lush wetland and constituting a magnificent maze.

Morning take a short transfer through the most featured countryside of North Vietnam to Cuc Phuong National Park, the 1st national park of Vietnam. Visit Turtle’s Conservation center, Carnivore and Pangolins Conservation center at the park gate. Visit Pre-historic Men’s cave in the heart of Cuc Phuong. Check out and transfer back to Hanoi to catch an express train to Hue. Boarding is at 7:00 pm.

Arrive early morning at Hue Railway Station, welcome by our guide and transfer to your hotel. Hue, the former Imperial Capital of Vietnam for the 1802-1945, is the last refuge of Vietnamese feudalism. It is known as a city of poetic beauty that blends a scenic landscape characterized by the Perfume River and surrounding mountains with an extremely rich historical legacy typified by numerous relics such as citadel, tombs and pagodas.

After breakfast at hotel, start a sightseeing tour of Hue City beginning with Hue Citadel, a well-known UNESCO-recognized World Heritage Site which is a 520 ha fortress-like grand complex built in the early 1800s and featuring three enclosures separated by heavy ramparts namely Kinh Thanh Hue (Civic City) as the outer, Hoang Thanh (Royal City) as the middle and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden City) as the inner. Next, visit Khai Dinh Tomb, the burial site of Khai Dinh, Vietnam’s second-to-last king, and the most elaborate compared to other kings’ tombs representing a cross of European and Asian styles. Move on to Tu Duc Tomb, one of the Nguyen Dynasty’s finest architectural works nested in a pine forest where Tu Duc, the 4th emperor of Nguyen family was buried. Stop by Dong Ba market, the city’s traditional commercial center, for shopping.

Morning, take a boat cruise along the Perfume River for sightseeing and visiting two prominent historical landmarks namely Minh Mang Tomb, where Minh Mang, the 2nd Emperor of the Nguyen dynasty was buried, and Thien Mu Pagoda, a Buddhist monastery still in use with its origin dating back to 1601.

Depart Hue to transfer to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass (Ocean Cloud Pass). Enjoy a stunning headland-and-bay panoramic view from the pass, which for miles hugs the mountainside along the shoreline and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Stop en route in Da Nang City to visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture, which boasts an extensive collection of sculpture works by the Cham ethnic group. Continue to Hoi An for lunch at a local restaurant. Once a bustling maritime commercial port of Asia between 15th and 19th centuries, Hoi An, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, is now a peaceful town of exceptionally well-preserved architecture, lifestyles and traditions. The town exemplifies a fascinating fusion of cultures between Vietnam and the outside world including China, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines.

In the morning, meet our guide at your hotel and ride a bicycle to a local farm in Tra Que village. You will take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Continuing doing some next steps such as: raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities.

After lunch, take a walking tour of the town to see its beauty up close. Highlights for sightseeing include the town’s iconic 400-year-old Covered Bridge with a small temple attached to one side as a prominent example of Japanese architecture, the 200-year-old Tan Ky House typifying an ancient Chinese merchant residence, the Fujian Assembly Hall built in 1690 as a convention venue for Chinese people from Fujian which has turned into a temple to worship the Sea Goddess, Thien Hau and the colorful local market. And last but not least, pay a visit to the Silk Village where you can observe the entire traditional process of silk making from silkworm rearing to textile production.

Morning, transfer to airport to Ho Chi Minh City. The flight is approximately 1hours.

Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, transfer to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, 75 km Northwest of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and later on Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaling over 120 km in length. Its complexity was beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges. Back to Ho Chi Minh City and spend time at leisure.

Afternoon, continue to visit Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral built by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles, Saigon Central Post Office, which was designed and constructed in the early 20th Century by the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel, the War Remnants Museum, which features an extensive collection of exhibits including weaponry, photos and documentation on Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans. Take photos outside the Reunification Palace the South Vietnam President’s residence and symbol of the Southern Administration’s reign until end of April 1975.

Morning, drive about 200km from Hue to the Son River in Quang Binh province, where you take a boat trip to the famed caves at Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. The Park is one of the world's two largest limestone regions. In comparison with 41 other world heritage sites which have karsts, Phong Nha has dissimilar geomorphic, geologic and biotic conditions. The karsts of Phong Nha can be traced back to Palaeozoic 400 million years ago. This makes Phong Nha is the oldest major karst in Asia. The area has numerous grottoes and caves. Vietnamese and British scientists have so far surveyed a total of 20 caves with a total length of 70 km. Of these surveyed caves, 17 were in the Phong Nha area and three in the Ke Bang area. Following the narrow underground river, you explore the most impressive Phong Nha cave, from which the name to the whole system. The Cave is famous for its rock formation which have been given names such as the "Lion", the "Fairy Caves", the "Royal Court", and the "Buddha". Afterwards, you return to Dong Hoi for lunch before driving back to Hue.

Morning, after breakfast our guide will take you to Quang Tri province 100 km from Hue City a fire and sword land during the vietnam war. The principal stop you visit during your trip is Truong Son cemetery , this is the largest soldier's cemetery in the DMZ area, dedicated to the estimated 25,000 men, women and children who died on the Truong Son Trail, better known in the west as the Ho Chi Minh Trail. There are more than 10,000 graves in the 16-hectare cemetery, arranged in 5 geographical regions, subdivided according to native province, and centred around memorial houses listing every name and grave number in the sector. Another 10,000 bodies were never recovered, but they are commemorated here as if they were.Each announces liet si (martyr), together with as many details as are known: name, date and place of birth, date of enrolment, rank, and the date they died.
After visiting Truong Son ceretery, we proceed to visit LaVang Holy land, Ben Hai river which became an important landmark in the partition of the country into a northern and a southern zone along the 17th parallel by the Geneva Accords of 1954. The demilitarized zone (DMZ) separating the two parts extended about 5 kilometers (3 miles) from either side of the river and Hien Luong Bridge a beam bridge built from steel by the French in 1950.
