This tour reveals to you the fascinating essence of Myanmar with Yangon, Bagan and Inle Lake then Vietnam from Vietnam from its North, Central and South, finally finishes at Siem Reap, Cambodia

Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, remains unknown to the world for centuries. It is the enigma makes the country becoming one of the most visited destinations in Southeast Asia. Experience the beauty of Vietnam as the landscapes of the exotic north to south. The next days, a short flight to Siem Reap, you can visit one of the most astounding archaeological sites nowhere in the world: Angkor Temples and learn about the history of Khmer kings at their highest and wealthiest power. This tour helps you to have an outlook of Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia but will give you a deeper understanding of Indochina region.
Itinerary Day by Day

On arrival at the Yangon international airport, welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel for check in and has a rest (Check in time is 14:00 and early check in is subject to availability). The former capital Yangon is the largest city and the most important commercial center in Myanmar.

Afterwards, visit the 2,600 years old Shwedagon Pagoda, the most sacred Buddhist pagoda for the Burmese can be seen from almost anywhere in Yangon. You will start at the eastern staircase where you will find the shops selling various religious items and other unique objects. Upon reaching at the main platform, witness the colors transform on the 100-meter pagoda which is literally covered with over 60 tons of gold leaf. Then return to the hotel. Dinner will be on own account.

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport for the domestic flight to Nyaung U (Bagan). Featuring more than 2000 red brick temples scattered across an area of 41 square kilometers in the central region of Myanmar, Bagan is known to be one of the greatest architectural sites in Asia.

Upon arrival, start your sightseeing in Bagan with a visit to the renowned Shwezigon Pagoda considered to be the prototype of later Myanmar stupas; constructed by King Anarahta in the early 11th century. Continue your visit to Kyansittha U Min, Htilominlo Temple and Gubyaukgyi Temple which has an exquisite mural painting of 13th century. Also visit to Manuha Temple built in 1059, and Nan Phaya which has been built in the 11th century by the Mon King Manuha. Then move on to some workshops of lacquer wares and wood crafts to learn about local production. Transfer back to your hotel for refreshment.


In the afternoon, continue to visit other interesting sites including  Tharabar Gate (the entrance of Bagan City Wall dated AD 876), Ananda Temple with four huge standing Buddha images, Lawkahteikpan Pahto (fine mural paintings) and Bupaya (theoldest stupa in Bagan) before enjoying sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Today, you will explore the settlement of Nyaung U and neighboring villages. Start with a visit to the vibrant Nyaung U Market the busy market in New Bagan with great opportunities of photographing and mingling with the locals, watch how they earn their daily lives. Explore a local village nearby, and if you wish, continue to the lesser-known temples and monuments in the area for the remainder of the morning. Lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will visit to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece constructed in "Mon" style, one of Bagan's most wonderful temples. From here, you will continue by a horse cart for an excursion to Oak Kyaung Monastery decorated with multi-colour mural paintings, ThatbyinnyuTemple, Bagan’s tallest temple, gigantic Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork and, Sulamani Temple. Proceed to Shwesantaw Pagoda to enjoy the breath-taking sunset over the Ayarwaddy River and the various temples from the upper terrace of the temple. Transfer back to your hotel for overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano over 1500m high, which is about48km south east of Bagan. Explore stupas, monasteries and Nat worship shrines before having a lunch prepared by a local restaurant.

Afternoon, drive to Salay, an old town with ancient ruins from the Bagan era. You'll visit very interesting places in Salay like Youpson wooden monastery, Payathonzu complex and Man Paya-the largest lacquer Buddha image in Myanmar. End of day return to Bagan and overnight at hotel.

Met and greeted with your guide then transfer to  visit Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) built for memorial of the 1954-56 sixth Buddhist Synod, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda where there are white elephants and Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda. In the afternoon, stop at Botahtaung Pagoda and Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image before find the way to your hotel.

Morning, start a full day city tour beginning with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder, and his rural style residence with a house on stilts and the Presidential Palace. Also part of this complex is the unique One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Avalokiteshvara or Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond. The tour will continue on with a visit to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology showcasing the prominent cultural heritages of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.

Afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long with its ruins and reconstruction, a UNESCO-recognized World Cultural Heritage Site whose history dates back to 1010 and ranging over four dynasties of Ly, Tran, Le and Nguyen. Proceed to the city’s central area to visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple located on an islet in the lake. Hoan Kiem Lake is the center point of Hanoi and home to a rare endangered giant turtle species. Its name “Returned Sword” comes from a legend of a sacred sword being lent to an ancient Vietnamese King by a holy turtle from the lake and later returned to the turtle. Discover special Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry as well as Vietnamese folklore through a compelling puppet show at Thang Long Theatre.

Morning pickup at 8:00 AM from your hotel for transfer to Ha Long Bay, which is about 160 km or 3.5-hour drive away. On the way, you will see some rural areas of the Red River Delta with plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers working in paddy fields. Stop half way to visit a handicraft workshop of fine clothes and embroidered paintings. Arrive in Ha Long City at 11:30 AM and check in aboard the booked junk right after the welcome drink is served. Start cruising while having lunch on board and enjoy the mighty bay view. Ha Long Bay meaning Descending Drgon Bay in Vietnamese as legend has it that it was where a holly dragon landed down from sky. The bay, famous as one of the world’s wonders and heritage sites whose formation dates back 500 million years, consists of around 2,000 karst islands and islets scattered over an area of 1,553 km2. The bay cruise will continue with up close sighting of Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island, a visit to Sung Sot Cave and swimming stop at Titov Beach. Relax to enjoy the bay view at sunset, have dinner after, go fishing at 09:00 PM and spend a night on board.

Wake up at 06:30 AM and refresh your body and mind with a Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck. Morning, transfer to airport for flight to Saigon. Formerly named Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city and economic center of Vietnam always bustled with activities of modern life. Fly from Danang to Saigon . Flight time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

At 6:30pm you will be picked up at your hotel to start the cyclo tour where you can experience the busy life of local people. Around 7:30pm, dinner will be at on Saigon boat cruise with traditional music. After dinner, your guide will accompany you to the Ben Thanh market for a walking tour to see the bustle of the night market. The tour will finish at your hotel at 9:30pm.

Morning, transfer to Cu Chi District about 75 km Northwest of downtown Ho Chi Minh City (max 08 pax). Discover the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and later on Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, form a highly intricate network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaling over 120 km in length. Its complexity was beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges.

Afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City that includes the War Remnants Museum, which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery, weapons, photos, and documentation of Vietnam War with the both the French and Americans, Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral as a French-built neo-Roman cathedral, Saigon Central Post Office, former Presidential Palace, Thien Hau Pagoda which was built in 1760 to worship a female Sea deity and Cho Lon, the city’s China town.

Morning, tranfer to airport for flight to Siem reap…

Arrival, meet with our guid then transfer to visit Taprohm - One of the area's most remarkable temples, Ta Prohm had been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. It reveals the fact that, unlike the other monuments of Angkor, it was abandoned and swallowed by the jungle, similar the ways most of the Angkor temples appeared when European explorers first stumbled upon them. Walk around to visit as well Takeo, Chau SayTevoda, Thommanon, and Chau Say Tevoda, Banteay Kdei, Sras Srang and Krovan. Enjoy feet massage in the city.

End of day take a relaxing stopover at Prasat Chrung visiting Tadev Hole and temple with the best Sunset. Dinner at local restaurant with Apsara dance show.
