Welcome to Vietnam! On arrival at Noi Bai airport, our guide and driver will meet you then transfer to hotel for check in. Hanoi or “River-bound City” as its name literally means is Vietnam’s capital with a thousand-year-old history dating back to 1010. The city’s fascinating beauty which is characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets of antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and romantic lakes has made it one of the most charming cities of Asia.

Take pleasure in watching a traditional water puppet show followed by traditional Vietnamese dinner at a local restaurant.

In the morning, your guide will meet you at hotel for a full day Hanoi city tour. Start by visiting the Ho Chi Minh complex which features the life of Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder. Begin with Ba Dinh square where Ho Chi Minh delivered the Proclamation of Independence of Vietnam, the humble stilt house where Uncle Ho lived and worked and the nearby Ho Chi Minh museum. Next, visit the Governor’s Residence, a fine example of the French architectures, followed by a stop at One Pillar Pagoda built in the 11th century dedication to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara or Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars. Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue the tour to the southeast of Hanoi for visiting a traditional handicraft village of Bat Trang renowned for its ceramic products. Watch artisans forming, painting and glazing their products. End of the day with one hour cyclo ride through the crowded streets of the Old Quarter.

Morning, pick up at hotel at 8:00 AM for a 3.5 hour drive (160 kilometers) to Halong Bay. En route, you will have lots of chance to see rural areas of the Red River Delta and farmers working on paddy fields. Stop halfway to visit a handicraft workshop of clothes and embroidered paintings. Arrival in Ha Long city around 11:30 AM, aboard on a traditional wooden junk, check in and enjoy a welcome drink. The boat starts cruising while lunch is served. Ha Long Bay means Descending Dragon. Legend has it that it was place where a holly dragon landed down from the sky. The bay features more than 2,000 karst islands and islets scattering through an area of 1,553 square kilometers. The cruise takes you close to some famous islands such as Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island… Stop to visit Sung Sot cave and swim at Titov beach. Relax and enjoy the bay at twilight. After dinner, you can join night activities like squid fishing. Overnight aboard.

Early risers can join a Tai Chi exercises demonstration on the sundeck at dawn. After enjoy a colorful buffet breakfast, continue to sailing the bay and visit some major highlights. Disembark in Ha Long city then private transfer to Hanoi airport with guide for flight to Hue. 
On arrival in Hue airport, our guide and driver will pick you up then move to hotel for check in. 
Hue is the former imperial capital of Vietnam. It charming allure is characterized by the Perfume River which flows through the city as well as abundant historic relics such as the citadel, tombs and pagoda.

Start a sightseeing tour of Hue City beginning with Hue Citadel, a well-known UNESCO-recognized World Heritage Site which is a 520 ha fortress-like grand complex built in the early 1800s and featuring three enclosures separated by heavy ramparts namely Kinh Thanh Hue (Civic City) as the outer, Hoang Thanh (Royal City) as the middle and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden City) as the inner. Move on to Khai Dinh Tomb, the burial site of Khai Dinh, Vietnam’s second-to-last king, and the most elaborate compared to other kings’ tombs. The tomb shows a vivid European influence in architecture despite its Asian style. Take a boat cruise along the Perfume River for sightseeing and visiting two prominent historical landmarks namely Minh Mang Tomb, where Minh Mang, the 2nd Emperor of the Nguyen dynasty was buried, and Thien Mu Pagoda, a Buddhist monastery still in use with its origin dating back to 1601. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon, you are transferred to Da Nang (110km) by car. Admire the beautiful landscape on the road through the Hai Van Pass. Enjoy a stunning headland-and-bay panoramic view from the pass, which for miles hugs the mountainside along the shoreline and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Continue on to Hoi An for overnight.

Once a bustling maritime commercial port of Asia between 15th and 19th centuries, Hoi An is now a peaceful town of exceptionally well-preserved architecture, lifestyles and traditions. The town exemplifies a fascinating fusion of cultures between Vietnam and the outside world including China, Japan… 

Begin your Hoi An tour with your guide and bike are ready at your hotel then cycle through old streets to a lantern making family. Colorful lanterns are an unmistakable part of Hoi An’s visual identity as the craft of lantern making has been passed down to present town dwellers from generations of their ancestors. Observe and learn how to make lanterns in the traditional way under the guidance of friendly and skilled hosts. You will practice all production steps including whittling bamboo into splints and bending them into a frame, cutting fabric to size and gluing it to the frame to complete a lantern. Next continue to a Hoi An cooking school, where you will learn to cook traditional Vietnamese food, have lunch and relax. After lunch, you will be shown how to decorate and pack your lantern and keep it as a souvenir. Say goodbye to the host and ride back to the hotel.

Morning, transfer to Da Nang airport. On the way, stop over at Non Nuoc village or marble village known for its stone-carving products. Take a 45 minute flight to Nha Trang. From a wilderness part of the Cham Empire before 1653, Nha Trang was transformed into a town during the colonial French rule and became the metropolitan capital of Khanh Hoa Province in 1937. The coastal city is well-known for its long pristine sandy beaches on the turquoise sea, which are ranked among the world’s best as well as scenic islands and coral reefs.
Take a short visit to the Por Nagar Temple, which is a vestige of the ancient Cham culture, Bao Dai villa built on the hill and surrounded by the poetic landscape, and Dam market. 
Check in hotel then free at leisure.

Morning, drive to Cau Da port to board a boat to visit Nha Trang Bay, one of 29 world’s most beautiful bays by Travel and Leisure, Mun Island, the two off-shore locations with clear water, beautiful corals and rich marine life ideal for water sports and recreations. Continue the boat trip to Mot Island, Bai Tranh, enjoy watersports such as jetski, parasailing, boat trip to Tri Nguyen Aquarium. Lunch included. Finish the trip at around 17:50pm.

Morning at your leisure. In the afternoon, transfer by car to Da Lat (230km), a romantic European styled city boasting a pleasuring climate and elegant French-style villas, churches, green park and flower garden among pine forests. En route, stop at the 13th century built Po Klong Garai towers in Phan Rang. Drive up over the winding Ngoan Muc Pass or Bellevue Pass by the French with a series of switchbacks and view of the ocean.

Morning, take a half-day tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels, 75 km Northwest of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and later on Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaling over 120 km in length. Its complexity was beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges.

Back to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch and an afternoon tour around major sights including Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral as a French-built neo-Roman cathedral, Saigon Central Post Office, former Presidential Palace,  Dong Khoi Street (formely Rue Catinat), Opera House and City Hall, the History Museum and Ben Thanh Market.

Today, you will be picked up by private car with an English speaking guide escorted to My Tho, 75km south of Saigon. You will be traveling past miles of flat rice fields, along a bustling High Way. On arrival at My Tho, you will board a private Mekong cruise boat to Thoi Son Island where you will be entertained with traditional music. Next, you will change to a paddle boat to cruise through the narrow canals and visit home grown industries like coconut candy and rice-wine making. Travel by motorized boat to another Mekong island to visit a bee farm and try tea with fresh honey from the beehives and enjoy fresh seasonal fruits. On your return to My Tho there will be a visit to the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Enjoy a lovely lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant. At the end of the tour, you will return back to Ho Chi Minh.

Early morning, meet our guide at your hotel and transfer about 4 km out of the city to Hon Ro fish market located by an estuary, which is often open at 2 AM on a daily basis.
